In the last issue, we mentioned that tofu cat litter has been greatly promoted in China since 2018, and is sought after by the younger generation of cat owners. However,
Generally speaking, whether the cat likes it is the most important thing. After all, they are using the cat sand, and there is nothing they can do if they don’t like it.
What do cats like? The smaller the particles, the more they like them, and the tasteless ones, the more they like them. From this point of view, bentonite cat litter wins all. Compared with tofu litter and pine wood cat litter, cats will prefer bentonite, no matter what kind of bentonite they like.
I used all pine wood cat litter and tofu cat litter, zero bentonite cat litter. At that time, cats especially liked to wet the bed, and often found surprises on the bed when came home from work. Then it was replaced with bentonite cat litter. (So if your cat wets the bed, also consider whether your cat doesn’t like the litter.)
At present, the pot of pine cat litter in my house is almost left unused. At the beginning, there was one that occasionally went into pee, but now it has moved to other bentonite cat litter toilets. So, pine cat litter is here, pass. (I haven’t used up the three packs I bought last year)
So next we discuss more about bentonite and tofu sand.
As for whether to choose bentonite or tofu cat litter, only children make the choice, and we adults all want it.
Both have their own advantages and disadvantages. Personally, I prefer tofu cat litter. It can be washed away and is easy to take care of. But my cats don’t like it that much. They obsessively like bentonite. So, it’s good to mix the two together. That is a good choice too.
